New Delhi: An array of young Bollywood actors including Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor, Ayushmann Khurrana. Alia Bhatt and several others met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday, Jan 10.

The meeting comes weeks after the PM met Bollywood producers and discussed issues faced by the industry, which led to the reduction in GST on film tickets by the government.

The delegation, which is a mix of directors and actors, has been organised by filmmaker Karan Johar, according to local reports.

PM''s meeting with the youth icons from Bollywood was to discuss the participation and contribution in nation-building.

Karan Johar shared the photo on his Instagram account and thanked the Prime Minister for his time, "Powerful and timely conversations can bring about change and this was one of what we hope will become a regular conversation. Meeting the Honorable Prime Minister @narendramodi today was an incredible opportunity."
